Karen has been a professional massage therapist for 24 years, graduating from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 1993 and returning in 2004 to complete a 200-hour Orthopedic Sports Massage program. She has  pursued certifications in Kinesio Taping, Cupping Therapy, Fascial Stretch Therapy  (LEVEL 3 CERTIFIED) and Active Release Technique (Spine) to further bolster her skill set. Her massage style is deep and specific, delivered with a compassionate touch.  Karen believes that therapeutic massage plays a direct role in preventing injuries, reducing recovery time from injuries, and maximizing performance.

Emily Hernandez, CMT, CFST

Massage Therapist, Level 2 Fascial Stretch Therapist

Inspired early as a high school and collegiate athlete by her own experiences of manual muscle manipulation, Emily has dedicated her life to massage therapy for over 11 years as a certified massage therapist. She is a graduate of The Indiana Therapeutic Massage School in 2005 of their 600 hour certification program. Her expertise includes the use of a variety of pressures and stretching techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage, and Fascial Stretch Therapy TM. She is a believer in continued education and practices the latest techniques to improve her client’s individual needs. Emily’s has experience with clientele ranging from office workers to professional athletes, and enjoys the challenge of helping other recover from injury and chronic pain patterns. She offers a therapeutic, yet relaxing treatment for the promotion of stress relief and continued health improvement. She is passionate in the belief of the body’s ability to heal itself through massage therapy, and it’s always the primary focus during her sessions.

Kelly O’Brian, PTA, CPT, CFST

Physical Therapy Asst., Certified Pilates Trainer,  Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist

A graduate of both Purdue (BA, Health and Kinesiology, ’06) and University of Indianapolis (AS, Physical Therapy Assistant, ’11), Kelly has worked in the Health and Wellness industry for the past 11 years. Her background in physical therapy, personal training and Pilates lends a unique perspective to Kelly’s Fascial Stretch Therapy work. An athlete herself, Kelly enjoys seeing clients achieve their peak performance as a result of her work in minimizing their pain and affording them freer, more limber movement.

Shannon Frederick, CMT

Massage Therapist, Certified Tui Na Stretch Therapist

Shannon has been a professional massage therapist for 15 years. Graduating from Sebastopol Massage Center in Sebastopol, California in 2000. She returned in 2002 to complete a 250 Tui Na Certification from Lifestream Massage School in Napa. She continued her studies at the Institute of Conscious Body Work in San Anselmo, California. Shannon believes that the mind/body connection is a reflection of the whole body, and receiving focused, therapeutic bodywork can help you feel and function better.

JoDee Waltz, CMT

Massage Therapist, Reike Practitioner, Thai Stretch Therapist

JoDee graduated from Aquarian Age Alternatives School of Professional Massage in 2006. Her training includes Deep-tissue sports massage, Prenatal massage, Thai massage, Stretching, Therapeutic and Swedish massage. She has recently added Cupping Therapy to her sessions!  She is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). She loves connecting with her clients and supporting their physical and emotional well being through personal attention and healing touch. JoDee’s work is strong and intuitive.

Brian has been practicing massage for over nine years. He earned a Certificate of Therapeutic Massage Technology from Medtech College in 2008, and Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion in 2016. He specializes in injury and problem specific massage treatments.  Brian uses a variety of deep tissue techniques and tools to reduce pain, soften scar tissue and adhesions which helps to promote the natural healing process of the body.
